Key Pointers for Uploading Simulator Excel Templates

  1. Upload Flexibility
    • You can upload input files using templates you’ve downloaded earlier, even before reaching the weekly values page.
  2. Template Structure Matters
    • Make sure your Excel file matches the expected columns and format.
    • If columns are missing or extra, the system will show a validation error and warn you in the interface.
  3. Collaborative & Formula-Friendly
    • The template now has separate sheets for Baseline and Scenario.
    • You can use Excel formulas (like lookups or calculations) in editable cells to prepare your data.
  4. Bulk Data Handling
    • You can bulk upload large datasets or copy-paste big ranges directly into the template, saving time for complex projects.
  5. Reuse Old Templates
    • Templates from previous sessions can be reused. The system will read your inputs and apply your latest selections, so you don’t have to set up everything again.
  6. Automatic Validation
    • The platform checks your file’s structure when you upload.
    • If there are any mismatches (extra/missing columns), you’ll get a clear error message so you can fix and retry quickly.
